| Recently, Mercedes Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of market supervision and administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the administration of recall of defective automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the administration of recall of defective automobile products, and recalled the following vehicles from March 25, 2022. 1、 Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. recalled a total of 4628 class C vehicles whose production date was from March 26, 2021 to September 22, 2021. Due to the software development deviation of vehicles within the scope of this recall, the engine control unit memory may not correctly write the engine start data, resulting in the shutdown and non restart of the newly started engine, increasing the risk of vehicle collision and potential safety hazards. Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will upgrade the engine control unit software free of charge for the vehicles within the recall scope through the authorized dealers of Mercedes Benz to eliminate potential safety hazards. 2、 Mercedes Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recalled 38318 imported class A, class B, class E, CLA, CLS, GLC SUV, GLB SUV, gle SUV (parameter | inquiry), GLS SUV (parameter | inquiry) and AMG GT vehicles with a production date from October 29, 2018 to June 18, 2021; Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. recalled 17312 domestic class A, e, GLA, GLB SUV, GLC SUV and EQC vehicles whose production date was from August 15, 2018 to October 13, 2021. When the vehicles within the scope of this recall are started, the mbux multimedia display screen may not start normally, resulting in the image of the rear view camera assisting the driver in reversing cannot be displayed on the display screen, which has potential safety hazards. |
